Cherry- Mixed Media

2pcs just finished one sold. This one is available for purchase but in the works of finishing 6-12 more.Of course they are different sizes and attitudes of life’s process and story.

Material:

recycled background (this piece Cherry bed head board) paint (enamel, poly), brass chips, vinyl,1970 Bingo chips- Highlighting spirit points & the energetic and intuitive relationship to unique therapeutic function of moving energy , healing. Does anyone remember these bingo chips with the metal edge and magnetic wand to pick them up with. I found a bag in the Schuylerville used store and had to have them. The woman who runs the operation for the school told me they were from the 70’s and what would I want with them?

Aluminum Welding

“My experience with them was amazing they welcomed me with open arms and showed me around and gave me a tour of the place. I brought my Aluminum welding project and i met with Chad. I must of talked with him for 2 hours before we even started talking about my project. The welds look amazing and it does not leak at all. As I reflect back on 2011, I am filled with awe and appreciation to you for inviting me and all of us at bALLARD rOAD aRT sTUDIO into your life.

I miChelle M. Vara extend a big thank you to all the collectors , dealers, new friends and individuals who have commissioned and worked with us at the Studio, in Wilton NY and will in the New Year and years to come.

On the horizon Vara has a new and exciting set of sculpture, canvas, mixed media; offering a fresh expanded dialog from her interior to expose for the New Year. She looks forward to the conversation and opportunities to come and as always welcomes visitors from around the country to visit the studio gallery.

Things and artist is thankful for-

I am thankful that I am not one of
the majority of people in this world that wakes up every morning, goes to a job they hate, just to come home and do it all over again.

I am thankful that I am my work, living
all my passion and expression every day at my studio.

I am thankful that when I am away
from my studio, my ideas come with me, they keep me company everywhere I go.

I am thankful for my life full of experiences.

I am thankful that I have a mind that
cannot sleep, I have never been bored.

I am thankful that there is a part of
my life that nobody can control, except me.

I am thankful that I am brave and

A new dialog in metal with sizes up to 8 foot.

The sculpture work is very different as it is a direct artist response to the now. All
