Wilton sculptor miChelle Vara has finished her interpretation of explorer Henry Hudson. Vara’s studio and lawn full of quirky sculpture, is on Ballard Road. She uses recycled metal. She “chooses parts for their past life’s function, tying the Hudson history together with connotations of things left behind and new beginnings.”

The sculpture is on display now at Vara’s studio. Friday it will be shipped to Kingston for a year-long exhibit.
