This bird was the flock beginning.
My grandfather gave me the hand made horseshoeing clinchers that is the beak and eyes. The present was when I was 18 years old and went to school to become a blacksmith at Green MTN Blacksmith. I have carried those things around, all theses years thinking some day they will make a wonderful bird. There has been 10 made for the sculpture garden summer series and two already sold. 5 of them are at the 5 Rivers Spring Show for the month.
